No longer limited to using tractors for handling, the latest series of dethatchers offers a Quad (ATV) transportation option. As a result of new and inovative engineering and easier transportation options the latest fds series can be seen and used at all types of Equestrian sports facilities (Horse Racing tracks, Polo fields and Show Jumping facilities included) and Cricket, Rugby, Baseball, Aussie Rules, Gaelic Football, Hurling, Field Hockey grounds and more.
VERSATILE
The fds series high speed Turf Dethatchers help to prepare turf for overseeding and are seen as a less intrusive alternative to verti-cutting. The easy height/downward pressure adjustment feature of the tines allows the operator to quickly go from evenly spreading top dressing to "tickling" the turf

The fds series Turf Dethatchers have spring-loaded tines to help create tour quality fairway turf conditions and relieve sports' field or track surfaces compaction. They quickly allow water and fertilizer to penetrate the root zone as well as quicken germination of all types of grass seed.
MAINTAIN QUALITY OF SYNTHETIC TURF
The fds series Turf Dethatchers reduce the G-Rating in athletic fields to make artificial turf feel like "real grass."

4 FREE-FLOATING SECTIONS. With easy monitoring and adjustment from the driver's seat, the dethatcher's four sections effectively articulate to conform to undulations and dethatch the most challenging areas.
TOW-BEHIND AERATOR. Compatible with most All Terrain Quads.
DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT Operation widths vary from 92 - 46 inches (234 - 117cms) dependent on choice of fds model in the series... 9200, 6000 or 4600. The fds 9200's weight is 500 lbs (227 kg). The entire fds series dethatchers tread lightly on the softest of turf conditions.
TINES and TIRES. As an example, the fds 9200’s 256 sixteen inch spring steel music wire tines (ASTM A 288) are much more durable than regular tines and responsive to variations in turf conditions. They vibrate to remove more wet and dry thatch, stand up synthetic fibers and loosen infill material. Tires 2 - 13.00 x 6.5 - 4 ply
SAFETY. Quick install transportation lock for easy transportation from sports facilities. Built -in height adjustment rachet for accurate and higher performance allows the operator to quickly adjust the dethatching pressure from light to aggressive.
ATTACHMENTS. Magnetic attachment to improve ground safety for athletes. Dragmat/Broom to evenly level natural and synthetic playing surfaces.
